Steve Joyce is an artist and lecturer based in Suffolk, doing varied work within the creative industries. He studied Fine Art at Norwich School of Art & Design (NUA) graduating in 1995, and later completed his Masters Degree at Colchester Institute. His teaching experience comes from twenty years of Art & Design lecturing work mostly in further education.
He is a multi-media artist who makes pictures; working mainly within painting, drawing, printmaking, and collage. The materials and techniques vary, but he frequently incorporates the use of appropriated images and materials. The work often explores the discrepancies between real objects and experiences, images and expected interpretations.
This weekly class is aimed at beginners and more experienced alike, to gain and improve on a wide and varied range of artistic techniques to lead to interesting outcomes. Most of all it is aimed to keep you motivated and set yourself creative goals!
